Grilled Steak Tips

Summer is the season of grilling! These delicious, bite-sized grilled steak tips are perfect to serve at outdoor gatherings with family and friends. Plus, they’re packed with protein and better-for-you ingredients, and they pair perfectly with ¡Yo Quiero! dips!

Ingredients

  • ¡Yo Quiero! Queso Blanco
  • ¡Yo Quiero! Original Guacamole
  • ¡Yo Quiero! Medium Chunky Salsa
  • 1.5 lbs flank steak
  • Salt
  • Garlic powder
  • Taco seasoning
  • Black pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1 orange bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1 red onion, sliced into strips
  • Garnish: green onion, chopped

Directions

  • Tenderize flank steak with a meat mallet and season generously with salt, garlic powder, taco seasoning and black pepper
  • Cut the steak into thin uniform strips then cut in half (try to keep pieces uniform for equal grill time)
  • Add sliced peppers and onions to middle of steak strip and carefully roll
  • Place a toothpick in the middle to secure all ingredients
  • Grill over low/medium heat until meat is cooked to preference
  • Remove from grill and garnish with green onion
  • Enjoy with ¡Yo Quiero! Queso Blanco, ¡Yo Quiero! Original Guacamole, ¡Yo Quiero! Medium Chunky Salsa!
