WHAT IS THE WHOLE30?
The Whole30 is a 30-day dietary reset that eliminates all the foods that could potentially cause inflammation and upset your gut.
Specifically, for a whole month, you commit to cutting out the problematic foods that are commonly inflammatory like sugar, dairy, grains, legumes, alcohol, and junk foods (even those made with “healthy” ingredients).

WHAT DO I EAT?
Directly from the Whole30 website: Eat Real Food! Eat meat, seafood, eggs, vegetables and fruit, natural fats, herbs, spices, and seasonings. Eat foods with a simple or recognizable list of ingredients, some with only one ingredient because they’re whole and unprocessed.

WHAT DO I AVOID?
- No added sugar, real or artificial
- No alcohol (not even for cooking)
- No grains
- No legumes
- No dairy
- No carrageenan, MSG, or sulfites. If these ingredients appear in any form on the label, it’s out for the Whole30
- No baked goods, junk foods, or treats with “approved” ingredients
* Recreating or buying sweets, treats, and foods-with-no-brakes (even if the ingredients are technically compliant) is missing the point of the Whole30.
Do not step on the scale or take any body measurements for 30 days. The Whole30 is about so much more than weight loss!
